NEW Hand Candies!
Hand Candies ~ A manicure scrub that will make you feel dandy!
Lorie Riley, owner of Bath by Riley, created Hand Candies, a hand and arm exfoliation treatment that really smells good enough to eat! They come in yummy smelling scents with cute names like, Flirtini, She’s a peach, Honey Chile, Yum Yum and Goddess. There are over thirty scents to choose from. These little treats can also be used in the shower as a body exfoliation. But Riley’s covered that too! She has a lovely sugar scrub that exfoliates and moisturizes with olive oil and Shea butter.

Riley uses the finest ingredients, many which can be found in any kitchen. All of the products are handmade in small batches to insure freshness and quality. Riley states “I would never create anything that I wouldn’t personally use myself”.

Best Hairstyles at the Golden Globes!
From glamorous updos to simple ponytails, hairstyles at the Golden Globes were sleek and on-trend...
"A sweep of pink lipgloss in a honeysuckle shade (the same hue as her Calvin Klein dress) and her long Latisse lashes were the key elements in the Temple Grandin winner's makeup look. Her hair was simply elegant as well, pulled back in a chignon

Mila Kunis wowed us with lush lashes and glowing skin — celebrity makeup artist for LancĂ´me, Tracey Levy, was inspired by Audrey Hepburn. The Black Swan actress's hairstyle was equally fabulous: a perfectly teased French twist, just like co-star Natalie Portman.Thursday, January 20, 2011

Winter Hair Colors
Listed below are general rules for winter hair colors:
1. When in doubt go darker. Although platinum can be worn all year long, consider toning it down or only keeping the lightest strands around your face.
2. Stay within two to four shades of your natural hair color. If your hair color is dark brown or black, change it up with warmed lowlights such as rich caramels, milk chocolates or elegant merlots. Fire engine red is more of a Summer color. For Winter opt for a darker auburn or lowlights in the maroon or burgundy families.
3. If you really don’t want to go darker, opt for carefully placed lowlights that will give the darker illusion you went darker without a major overall change. This is also in keeping with a gradual color evolution.
4. If going darker is the best for your current eye and skin tones but you still want some lightness, weave in softer accent colors around your face.
5. Opt for natural colors whenever possible.
6. Remember to select colors that you can afford to maintain.
